Catherine Huck originally founded Simply Stoned in Hong Kong in 1998. During 16 years living in Asia she saw a demand for high quality yet affordable jewellery designed for fashionable & discerning women.
In 2005 Catherine joined forces with Mette Høj and established Simply Stoned Ltd in the United Kingdom as a design-led, independent jewellery company.
Now settled in rural Oxfordshire, Catherine lives with her husband and their two sons.
Mette Høj left her home in Denmark in 1993 for her career in the sports-fashion industry, working throughout Asia, the US and South America. Formerly a Nike executive, Mette has a background in global sourcing and product development.
She met Catherine whilst both were based in Seoul, South Korea, and following her move to London she formed the partnership that established Simply Stoned as a U.K. based jewellery company.
Mette is now settled in Windsor where she lives with her husband and young son.
